friends star Matthew Perry has revealed the title and cover of his upcoming memoir, Friends, lovers and the big terrible thing

Perry made the Announcement on Twitter, writing: “So much has been written about me in the past. I thought it was about time people heard from me. The highs were high, the lows were low. But I’ve lived to tell the story, even though sometimes it seemed like I wouldn’t. And it’s all in there. I’m sorry it’s not a pop-up book.”

Publisher Flatiron announced last October that it would be publishing a memoir of Perry, in which he would spend his time friends as well as his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction. The actor has said in the past that because of his past substance use… unable to remember shooting three seasons of the sitcom.

Iron describes Perry’s book as a “candid, funny and revealing memoir that delivers a powerful message of hope and perseverance.”

Friends, lovers and the big terrible thing is an unforgettable memoir that shares the most intimate details of the love Perry lost, his darkest days and his greatest friends,” the publisher said. “Fearlessly honest, moving and hilarious, this is the book fans have been waiting for.”

Friends, lovers and the big terrible thing is scheduled for publication on November 1.
